New Book Details

We have just finished the rewrite of “The Vision” and it should be available on Amazon as well as at Barnes and Noble bookstores near the end of February. Below are excerpts of newest additions to the book. As you can see, more new and exciting news is being included in the book—so be sure to get your order in!

At the end of the introduction leading into Chapter One:
“The WBA played an eleven-state exhibition tour in 1992, with a name change, new uniforms, and logos followed by three fifteen-game spring summer seasons from 1993-1995. The WBA was the first professional basketball league for men or women to play a spring summer season. The league had top quality players who played hard buzzer-to-buzzer in every game. We proved that female athletes could be as exciting to watch as males. And we were selling franchises and building attendance numbers until the vision came to a sudden halt. But this is why we’re telling the story—because we want to give credit where credit is due to the women in the WBA.”

From the brand-new chapter “Where Are They Now”:
“If there hadn’t been a WBA, there would not have been the WNBA.”
