The Vision is a Success in KC
The Kansas City festival was far greater then we expected it to be. The response from the people and the questions that was ask was unbelievable. They wondered how a story like this could be hidden so long. And it started here in Kansas City—which is another piece of history for Kansas City.
We are now adding new information in the documentary and trailer.
This includes what congressman Emanuel Cleaver III and Clay Johnson, a former NBA player, and the late Joe C. Meriwether who played for the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and eventually became the Kansas City Kings in 1972-1975. (Joe also coached the Kansas City Mustangs of the Women’s Basketball Association) had to say about the WBA and WNBA. The true story behind Women’s Professional Basketball and how it actually originated and found a way to survive here in the United States.
